Focus on growing your prayer life with these suggestions:
1. Write down scripture to help you grow in your faith.
2. Read a verse or chapter from the bible, research it, and grow in biblical knowledge.
3. Spend time in prayer listening to God without asking for anything. 
4. Pray in your heavenly language. If, you don't know how ask God to fill you with his Holy Spirit and the gift of tongues.
5. Guard your eyes, gate, and speech. Nothing can damage a powerful prayer life more than a gossiping tongue.
Therefore, avoid worldly talk that could hinder your development and grieve the Holy Spirit.
