Scripture Reading: Proverbs 6:17: "Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood."

Prayer:
Lord, please help us to make good choices in life. Lord, show us how to govern our decisions and be wise with choices concerning others.  Father, your word teaches that whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood shall be shed, for in the image of God He made man. This means that we were made in your image, in the spirit of truth, and therefore must abide by biblical law concerning humanity. Lord, help us to make our decisions as a country to uphold the law of the land, under the rule of God. Thank you for helping us to see from your viewpoint how to operate and conduct ourselves in alignment with your universal law. And let us continue to be one nation under God forever, holding up truth and fairness.  In Christ Jesus' name, Amen.
